YOKKAO Meets with WBC Muay Thai on China Partnership

On 19 September, YOKKAO and WBC Muay Thai officials came together for a significant meeting at the prestigious and exclusive Royal Bangkok Sports Club.

YOKKAO key person, Stefania Picelli along with YOKKAO Hong Kong representative, Jason Fan met up with the newly appointed chairman of the newly formed WBC MuayThai committee for Southern Mainland China, Mr. Song Ke. The trio was hosted by WBC Muay Thai global Chairman, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi and deputy secretary general, Kevin Noone to discuss on possible collaborations in the Greater China region.

Mr Song Ke, who is the owner of the EWD promotion also visited YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok today with Stefania Picelli and Jason Fan. WBC Muay Thai world titles are among the most distinguished titles in the world. The organization is now looking towards China to host more WBC-sanctioned matches in its continued expansion. The upcoming WBC Muay Thai welterweight showdown between Manachai and Julio Lobo at YOKKAO 34 paves the way for further partnerships down the road.

Over the years, YOKKAO has risen up the ranks to earn its place among the top Muay Thai promotions in the world. To date, it is held over 50 events around the world in the last 7 years. YOKKAO 33 - 34 could mark the beginning of a new era through the collaboration with WBC. The times ahead are looking truly exciting for Muay Thai scene in China.
