YOKKAO 43: Brian Totty vs Jack Kennedy

With matchmaking heating up for our 26 October double-header in the UK, the first official bout for the YOKKAO 43 card has just been confirmed. It will feature two YOKKAO UK favorites, Brian Totty Jr and Jack Kennedy as they clash in a welterweight faceoff.

Kennedy has proved himself as one of the UK’s best having fought many of the best fighters in the promotion including Singdam, Craig Coakley and Nathan Bendon. He has also faced many renowned and elite opponents on the international circuit such as Thanonchai Ratchanon and Changpuak Pongtong. Fighting out of Southport’s Imperial Muay Thai Academy, the English fighter will return to make his seventh appearance on our show.

Facing Kennedy at Bolton will be Scottish fighter, Brian Totty who is back since his last winning appearance on YOKKAO 30. The Everyday Athlete Gym fighter from Glasgow recently captured a European title and will look to further his streak against Kennedy. We expect nothing less than an all-out war as both fighters make their climb up the UK rankings in the welterweight division.

YOKKAO 43-44 brings together the top Muay Thai athletes in the region on a stacked double-bill card. Totty and Kennedy will be join other highly-anticipated matchups including Joe Craven vs Alex McGregor, Niamh Kinehan vs Jodie Clunan, Jacob Smith vs Manuel Gomez Rubio, Chris Shaw vs Niall Brown and Liam Harrison vs Jeremy Payet in the main event.
