YOKKAO 34 Main Event: Manachai vs Julio Lobo for WBC Title

YOKKAO 34 MAIN EVENT

All the intensive training and preparations in the last month for Manachai are leading up to one of the biggest fights of his career. On Monday 29 October, he will square off against Julio Lobo for the coveted WBC Muay Thai World Welterweight title for the main event at YOKKAO 34. This has been a long-awaited title shot after being denied at the last minute in February for a Channel 7 stadium belt. The YOKKAO fighter was once again let down when his opponent pulled out from the Champion of Thailand title match in March. Manachai is riding on an impressive run with 13 wins in his last 14 outings. As he looks for his next victory and have the WBC belt on his waist, he will first need to take on and defeat his Brazilian opponent, Julio Lobo.

Fighting out of Phuket Fight Club, Lobo has appeared on a number of high-profile promotions including Thai Fight and Glory Kickboxing. He makes his promotional debut at YOKKAO 34 and with the prestigious WBC title on the line, this is a main event primed for the most explosive action. YOKKAO 33 - 34 is shaping up to be one of the year's most exciting Muay Thai shows. The full fight card for the double event will be released in a follow-up post. Stay closely connected with YOKKAO via social media for all the latest updates, weigh-in results and live-streaming details.
